    From "The Complete Button Book"
    Albert & Kemp 1949, p. 236, 237

A not terribly complete description :)

Is it just me, but don't all three have slightly different features (not very fox-like)?

    Probably are foxes, though :)

According to that last bit, they may be composition. What do you think they are?

Very light and first thought perhaps bakelite, celluloid. Not exactly sure what composition is. They don't feel quite ? solid enough for horn. All are the same material and foxes is the closest I could guess at.
