Cairoware small vase

    Beautiful cairoware vase/pot, very little markings and no idea if the markings mean anything or if they are genuine. To me they look like they are etched into it afterwards.     Gorgeous vase (pot?).:happy: It could be Damascus ware, they often look the same, but people will understand what you mean either way.
    A more general term is Mamluk Revival ware.
    Are you sure they are not engraved?
