Featured Cake Stand

    I picked up this cake stand at the Swap Shop at our Transfer Station today.

    I checked @TallCakes link and couldn't find it, then I went to EAPGS.org to search all the cake stands and I found it!!!!!!

    It is Melrose AKA Sheaf and Diamond by Bryce, Hygbee and Co., introduced in 1894.

    I just wanted to post it here to say thank you to all the wonderful, helpful boardies who gave us the tools I needed to ID this piece for myself! This site is populated with wonderful people who give freely of their time and knowledge. You are all greatly appreciated :):):):):):):):):)

    Thank you everyone, I was pleasantly surprised when I found the iD :)

    Bev (who lives in a neighboring town), you know what goodies can be at our Transfer Stations, you have found some yourself!
