Can Anyone give me info on this painting (1959) signed 'Jo Devis' or 'Mars'??

    Hi all. First of all, I hope you -and love ones are all in good health.

    I bought this painting, a watercolor, just over a year back in Belgium, it was not framed. (And needed a good clean.) It was made in 1959, by an artist that signed as, from what I can read: ‘Jo Devis’ - Mars. Or, perhaps, the depicted woman is ‘Jo Devis’ and, the painters name ‘Mars’? I am not able to find out more information, or figure it out. Is there anyone that can help me? All info would be much appreciated!

    "Mars" is French for March, so you're looking for a French painter.

    Or Belgian, since it was bought in Belgium.;) The southern half of Belgium is Francophone, roughly speaking.
