This painting is unsigned. When I got it, very old tape was barely holding brown paper on the back which read Loukes Hardware Connelsville PA. I researched it and the store opened in the late 1800s in Pennsylvania. Looks to be luminist? Not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am not getting anywhere else.

Would think this a 20s-30s decorative painting. The rustic camping theme was popular then and you will find dozens of similar paintings out there. They were the factory paintings of their day and were often sold in furniture stores (or possibly even in hardware stores).

Can't help with the painting beyond saying that I wish I had been around to see someone trying to hang a cauldron from the ridge poles of a tepee.....................I'd probably still be rolling around on the floor laughing............particularly one that is apparently four foot in diameter........
