Can anyone help me with this marking?

I have been searching for this marking but can't find it anywhere. There is an N on the guys chest area. Thanks for any info!

Thanks, I did not notice that! Here is what the marking is on.

 

How big is it? Could it be part of a wash set? And is the mark a man or a cat? His head looks odd. Not that any of that helps.

 

Haha now that you mention it I'm not sure! Does kinda look like a cat head. I think it might be a guy with Sherlock Holmes type facial hair. I looked through a few books and found nothing. Yeah definitely could be part of a wash set. Thanks for your comment!

 

I think he's dressed as a dandy, which makes me think the name might be along the lines of Beau, or Brummel. Did find a china painter named Brummel, but not a manufacturer. Apparently 'Dandy' is the same in English and French.
