Can anyone help with this ceramic Asian "wall-man"?

    I've had my eye on this at my local cheap store - called "Cheap"!

    Really don't know anything about this type of ceramic - I just like him. Please help :) ?? Thanks!

    The pose itself doesn't make a lot of sense. Probably had other pieces with it that did not survive.
