    Hi, I bought this recently, it looks like old chinese cup with animals carved, any comments please.

    I'd say a Japanese censer, for burning incense.
    Someone probably used it as a planter or cache-pot.

    Agree with Any.
    Japanese censer missing the lid.
    Probably solid brass.
