Can anyone help?

I found this doll in my late mother's home. It has no markings. It is 30 inches tall and weighs about 10 lbs. Does anyone know any way for me to find out when it was made, who made it, etc...?

 

Look first on the bottom of the neck / top of the back, under the clothes. Might be a stamp etc there.

Thank you. I have checked everywhere on this doll and cannot find a marking of any kind. I am too afraid to remove the shoes. I am afraid of breaking off a button or something. I do not believe the shoes and clothing go with the doll. The shoes are Hurd Shoes. I can read the stamp on them.

 

What is the head made of? Molded Plastic?

The arms and legs appear to be of painted fabric. You need to completely undress the doll and take photos front and back. Don't worry about the shoe buttons.....you can always sew them back on.

I doubt that the clothes belong to the doll as you suggest.

Where are you located?

 

If it’s that heavy maybe there is something inside?

 

Could be made of composition,looks like it could be and would make it heavy
