Can anyone ID this unique chair?

    Not totally convinced it was locally made, but I picked up this chair today because I though it was unique, and really very beautiful. Please help me identify! Fpund the tag in the bottom of the chair. Thanks!

    The style is called a corner chair, I think; that's about all I know.

    Looks like the date on the tag is "1977". A reproduction of an older style chair?
