    Hi,

I'm in the process of clearing my father's house and have come across a set of china that I'd like to try and identify. It appears to be hand painted, but there's no makers stamp, just what appears to be three dots.

I'm guessing it's quite early, but I'm really not sure. Thanks for any light anyone can shed on this mystery !

    Kevin.

    Welcome to the forum, Kevin.
The people who know porcelain will be along soon. They will probably want to see a photo of the base as well.

I didn't photograph the underside, silly I know, can do that at the weekend.

But all there was on this milk jug were three blue dots in a line, nothing else at all.

    Kevin.

    Hi Kevin,
It is important to show the bottom even if nothing is marked. The way it is shaped can be an important clue to who made it or even what country it came from.
