    Hello everyone!

I hope you can help me, I've got a relatively old relative who found this piece in her loft and is convinced it has some value, I'm dubious but I said I would inquire.

Any help would be much appreciated! I also should mention it does have two cracks around the brim

    Thank you

Why, oh why do people take pictures facing towards bright light. Use the light on the item.

It appears to be a Chinese Jardiniere in what is commonly called a Prunus pattern, Googling these keywords should bring up pictures of similar items.

Trouble is they have been making them since the Ming period untill this morning, the reign marks are almost invariably spurious, and the badly lit picture does not help beyond the basics.

The probability is that it is no older than the beginning of the last century, and not all that valuable, especially if damaged.
