Can anyone read this???

    Hello all, I picked up a handpainted saucer the other day and hopefully someone's expertise in foreign language will help me.
    The saucer is 4 3/4" diameter,some of the paint is fading and it seems fairly old. On reverse of saucer is some type of language that I can't recognize. Honestly I don't even know which way is up with the mark.

    Read as "Jiu Gu"
    A japanese Kutani ware

    I'm guessing it's 1930s or late 20s?
