What does the signature say on the bottom and proper name of this cup/bowl?

  1. I have this bowl from Italy and it has a signature that I can't read on the bottom.
    Can anyone tell me the name of this signature, the correct style name of this cup/bowl?
    I know it's from Italy and that's about it.

    The size is about 6 inches wide and 6 inches tall approximately.

    How do you know it is from Italy? Looks Portuguese or Spanish to me.

    It's pretty typical of many stylised Italy marks.

    I agree, the mark is. The pattern gives me cause to suspect differently.

    According to IM Translator, the English for 'poubelle' is trash can! Maybe wastebasket would be a bit more suitable for one de table.

    Did you follow the link that starts with Google, not the one that starts virtueel, which is part of kristiaan's identifying info?

    Edit: See you probably did. It's a bit of a reach to see your piece as serving this purpose, but love having a new term.
