I remembered it was on one of the boards before and had something to do with ikebana, but I won't remember it next time!

 

Awesome! Thanks so much. I found it in a coffee shop in Chincoteague this summer, without any sort of indication on it, and was curious. Can anyone direct me to online resources about it? I've done a quick Google search, but pretty much have seen only other pieces for sale.

It's normal not to find documentation about modern Japanese or Chinese potteries. The ones with stickers say they're from Toyo Japan.
