Featured Can someone help identify these earrings?

I believe these were made sometime in the 1950's to the 1970's. They are marked with a K18 on the back.

 

I'd have said more mid to late 1980s, from the design. I wonder if someone had them altered from pierced to clip. The circle bit inside could have been soldered on after they clipped a post off.

 

Doesnt k18 mean its gold ? Id think theyd be marked elsewhere . Rather brutalist looking things,but interesting nonetheless.

I have a ring that has a K18 mark. I brought it to a jeweler because it looked like it was cheap junk. He tested it & said it was 18K & not cheap, just bright.

Yes, it was a ring from 1980’s.

 

I had them tested all of it test as 18k.

 

From what I have found so far most Jewelry marked k18 was made in Europe or Japan.

 

Mine was a man’s ugly ring with nice stones & I think I have another piece I will have to dig through.
