Can someone identify this for me?

    I assume from the info you gave on your "Pics help" thread, that it appears to you to be a container of some sort? Does that chain keep the "top" attached to the bottom when you take the top off?

    Any chance that there's a little "spoon" attached inside the top?

    Yes it does have a chain that holds the top on and a little spoon inside. Do you know what it is?

    Can you describe the tiny "marks" on the bottom?
