Can someone please help me identify a Chinese Pottery Mark

    Hello, I just found this vase at my grandma's house, it has this mark on the bottom, I don’t actually think it is an antique but could anyone let me know what mark this is? Thanks.

    The mark is for the Qianlong Emperor of China 1736-95, it is the (partial) seal form of the Qianlong mark. You are quite right though, the vase isn't old. Marks like this are used to honour past Emperors, and in examples like this not meant to be deceptive (it would never pass as period even to someone with the most basic knowledge).
