Can you deciper the mark on this sterling & jasper ring?

SS_Picture_Jasper_signed_Ring_1.JPG SS_Picture_Jasper_signed_Ring_4.JPG SS_Picture_Jasper_signed_Ring_x.JPG This ring may be Native American and I'm hoping you can help me find out. I believe the stone is picture jasper. The back is stamped "Sterling" and there is a script mark that looks like "R" with maybe a short letter, then a tall letter, some more letters, and a tall letter at the end. There are also a few partial letters on the outside of the band.
I've looked with a loupe and 5x glasses simultaneously and enlarged photos but I can't get it any clearer. The stamp was not that sharp to begin with. Google image search did not find a match.
    Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

Maybe someone with better eyes can pull something out of this, but I cannot!!!
Other than what I think is an initial "R" and something in the R-scrolling......and some hints at a couple of possible letters towards the end..........are you sure you can't get a sharper image???

No, this is as clear as it is! This actually depicts the mark perfectly, unfortunately! I appreciate the blow-up.

Think this could be the mark of Roland Dixson. Latter part of the name has been obscured by ring being sized.

@Hollyblue Thanks for the link, I didn't find it there.
@verybrad - The ring hasn't been resized and the last letter of the mark is a tall letter, not a short one like in Dixon. Thanks for the idea!

Think all you have is the Roland part. Dixon is missing. Are you sure a segment has not been cut out for sizing? You have it in hand so maybe not.

The mark is on the side, very rarely do jewelers size rings at the side. And, it's in like-new condition so I'm confident it's original. Thanks, again!

You might be surprised at the number bench jewelers who will saw through maker's marks when doing resizing and repairs.

Hmm, disturbing! But this mark is on the SIDE and there is no evidence of sizing inside or out...
