I have a desk I am trying to identify, possible year, make etc. There are no manufacturer markings. I do know it was used by my great grandfather in the 20-30s we think. Any help would be great.

Circa 1910. Empire revival, sort of, with Queen Anne legs. Size? Might actually be a dressing table/vanity missing a mirror.

Thinking the surface is too deep for a dressing table. Otherwise, agree with Verybrad. If not, the piece might be as late as the 1940s. Built like a tank, but thanks to the uninformed public, a hard sell.

@komokwa, there were several partial photos in the Gallery, I just chose the FULL & dark one to post..........thought others might post some of the other photos....

It is pretty big and very heavy. There is no evidence of anything that would have been attached. It was used as a desk.

Thanks. The site is a bit, hard to use. I replied with embedded photos. The pics are dark yes.

Good point. Really did not pay much attention to perceived depth in the photo.
