Cannot decipher signature

    Unable to decipher the artists signature, the back of the painting says ‘Rue du M’Cenis’ Rue Du Mont Cenis, Paris

    would anyone be able to help?

    Good to show the back too especially if there is lettering written by the artist then we can see how they are forming their letters which would help with deciphering the siggie.

    As Houseful says, it would be so helpful to see the back of the painting. Also how big is it? It's a Montmartre composition much loved by Utrillo.

    Looks like P. Cumming or Cummings to me, but a quick search didn't find anything obviously matching that.
