    Hello,
I'm looking for some help figuring out what this is. I thought maybe an ikebana vase, I could maybe imagine a flower frog on the bottom dish. I mean, I just really don’t know. Any thoughts regarding its function are greatly appreciated in addition to an ID on the artist should you recognize the signature. It measures 5¼” tall. Thanks kindly!

Even though the 2 pieces are made of the same clay and finished with the same glaze, I get the feeling that they were not intended to stack as you are showing them.
