Carved Friesian Chest

anyone recognize this as a modern Pakistani type production?
the carving looks more European or American style.
Could this possibly be old?

I was sent the photo, so this is all I've got at the moment.

 

It is Pakistani, probably from the Swat valley region. Hard to tell the age from just one photo. Swat furniture is traditional. The motifs of the carving are generic West Asian with small regional differences, and reminiscent of European folk carving, which is also pretty generic, with small regional differences.

Curiously enough, the publication of the demise of the Ahkoond of Swatz appealed simultaneously to the humorous sense of Mr. Edward Lear in England and of Mr. George T.
