A pair of stone bookends that look and feel like stone, but I am not sure because of the colors. They remond me of King and Bishop chess pieces. With the look of the men and the dragons at the base I was thinking perhaps Norse. These measure 6 3/8" tall, 3 3/8" wide and 1 5/8" deep. Would welcome any information about these.

Those are fabulous. Not what I expected to see at all. They look like glass, but obviously arent.

Thanks Gila, chess bookends are quite popular, I usually sell them fairly quick.

johnny, I thought these were slag glass when I first saw them at a distance
