    Couldn't resist this fella for a pound
    He seems a bit middle of the road in terms of quality(very rounded tactile though)
    He's got an almost cartoony look about him(about 5")

    Any idea where he might have come from

    Any thoughts appreciated

    Agree re quality but... He's got lots and lots of personality to make up for it.

    It is the eyes, isn't it. Very cute.

    My parents got several very much like him, in former Ceylon, now Sri Lanka, around 1960.
    Toenails, eyes and tusks were bone or ivory.
