Carved Wood Buddha

    I have a carved wood Buddha that I basically know nothing about. Can anyone identify the type of wood and possibly a guess as to its age. It is heavy weighing 4 lb. 7 oz. and measures about 12 5/8" tall. Thanks so much for any information.

    I offer the guess that it is teak. JMHO
