I have no idea if I am in the right forum because I'm not sure what this is. He is around 10 inches long and about 4 inches tall, in a prone position. It may just be a piece of hobby art or some sort of folk art. Anyway I am hoping someone here can help me out with at least what sort of animal it may be. It displays well sitting up and laying down and I don't know if that was intentional. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

I can see both a Kangaroo or a cat. My neigbor suggested a smaller carnivorous animal, possible in the weasel family.

My guess is that it was part of a joke pair.

Looks like there are a few possibilities but I don't think I can get Chucacabra out of my mind now.
