I picked these 2 Case xx Pocket knives up at a garage sale today for $20.
One is a a 6.5383 WH SS whittler. with a stag handle. ( box says bonestag on it. and the box says Item #93594.) It also has LONGBRANCH ENERGY on the blade, so I assume it's a promo item. Does that hurt/help value? Any other information on it would be helpful. I think when I was looking them up I saw things like hump handle etc.....it was confusing to a non knife person like me. The box has a 09/15/06 date on it.

The next is a Case XX 7347 WH SS . Item# 00285 Cherry Handled Knife. 3 blades. Both appear unused in the original boxes. This one has a 12/09/99 date on the box. Anything you can tell me is helpful, Like rarity, descriptive terms I can use in the auctions etc.....

case is a good name....& there are fans.
Both ...not that old......one reason they are still in mint boxes....
The terms u already have are enough...with good pics...
You could add the main blades are clip points....
The Promo name on the blade is a selling point as many collectors seek these out.
The 3rd blade on the pocket worn knife , is unknown to me ...as it looks like a tanto...or a broken repair...

I know that many of the pocket knife makers have moved operations out of the US and if that is the true of Case it should help value if they are old enough to be made in the US.

I also picked up a Schrade 80T pocket knife. Paid $10 ea. For the knives. Did I do OK? I only bought them because I knew the names. I stay away from China/ japan knives, since last year Komo said no China/ japan knives on his Christmas wants post! Lol

MINT 2000 Case 7347 WH SS Whittler with genuine Rosewood handles and "Tent" shield. This knife was part of the Case Outdoor series made from 1999-2001 that featured Rosewood handles and "Tent" shield. The Whittler pattern in this series was only made in 2000 & 2001 and is one of the hardest to find. Includes period correct generic Case box with paperwork.

    SOLD $ 50.

Yeah I saw prices were all over the place. that's what has me confused. What is " tent shield?" and swell center? I guess what I'm wondering is......is there features besides condition that would effect the value of the knives, being that the same model can fetch such different prices?

the shield is the name badge on the handle....
look closely....C.ase....is in the shape of a camping tent..

Swell center is the handle becoming thicker and more beefy ....in the middle between both ends...

Original box...papers.....when & how many produced.....design on the handle....handle material.....& folks who like to ask the moon !!!!
    All these make a difference...
