Cast iron bowl?

    Hi I was wondering if anyone knew what this cast iron 3 footed bowl was usee for? Ant info would be appreciated. Thank you!

    This is a lotus bowl, maybe Chinese but oriental for sure. (IMHO:smuggrin:)
