Cast iron footstool age and origin? English? Victorian?

I have a few English Victorian era (19th century) tables, but hadn’t seen any cast iron footstools until recently. This is an example of one listed on eBay (for far too much $$, I think). I took a screenshot of the listing photos so no need to click on that link.

Are cast iron footstools such as this also English and Victorian, or made elsewhere and/or are newer? I’ve seen a number of iron vanity benches/piano stools over the years, but not a cast iron footstool. I’ve also seen quite a bit of iron furniture made in France at about that time, but, again, no footstools.

Any thoughts?
