Cast Iron Swan Anchor/Hook

    Good Morning, Can anyone please identify this antique cast iron piece? It is about 5” in length! Seems it go over maybe a piece of wood with a screw to fasten it in place. Thank You

    Maybe it helps when you see it like this, it is indeed a swan's neck and head. No details though.

    Thanks, AJ. Looks like a modern piece of metal to me, and not something from yesteryear found in an office setting.

    Thanks for your comments, I believe it does have age to it. Casting is smooth!

    I mentioned what I did, due to the finish. Not how smooth or rough.
