Cast Iron What's It

    Bought this at an estate sale. Stands 4" tall, Handle to handle measures 4 1/2", base measures 2 3/4" across. Signed BM? or HM? What is it?

    just a WAG - an incense/smudge pot type device missing the lid? I'm just saying this because of the holes along the bottom of the pot possibly for airflow.

    Rayo cracked it, because at first I was wondering what those little holes were all about. Then Google image search did all the rest.
