I've had this on a little shelf for a while, moving some things out to make room for new. Do you think this is just a modern piece, maybe Chinese? The way the glaze pools up on the base made me think so. Zero markings. Cute enough but nothing too valuable, right? Do I have permission to donate?

    Oh he is cute.
Have you tried looking for Celadon Cat?
    I think Chinese as well.
I think he might be mid - late 1900s, not yesterday. But I could be wrong.

I'll take a look at Celadon, thanks Cluttered.

It has been a mystery ever since I picked it up at a thrift years ago.

This looks new to me and reminds me of Thai celadon ware

Its cuteness gives it a pass on its age.
