    Hello friends,

I propose to your attention this beautiful sculpture of an elephant with his son.

Apparently it looks like painted wood, but taking the article in hand, it is much heavier than wood. Its weight is 757 g and has a height of 13.7 cm.

Could it be ceramic or similar ? Or a particular very heavy wood ?

I'd like to identify this article and date it for my cataloging

If it's wood then i'll move in the other category, excuse me please, in the meantime .

    thanks a lot

But specific weight of resin is lighter than wood....
This is very heavy considering the sizes ..
    Maybe Teak ?

You do get heavy resin pieces, I've had some. It isn't teak, wrong colour, anyhow.

Hi Gianluca, I am the 4th to support the resin view. You can get various weights of resin used in articles. The size of your elephants would also add extra weight. It's the picture number 16 of under the feet that indicates resin.
