Ceramic / terracotta Ram water vessel / pitcher / thingy - where from? What for?

    "Thingy" is my go to word when I don't know exactly what I'm dealing with :)

    Terracotta - I don't think it's super old because the inside doesn't look too used or worn out - I could be wrong.

    About 8" from spout to tail. About 7" high at tallest point. Weighs 22 ounces.

    I love it. I don't know if it is a replica or real, probably the first, but I have always loved aquamaniles. And this one is so charming.
    And to use. As my mother always said, wash your hands before dinner.:playful:

    I have not found any with this shape mouth/spout.
    Also can’t find this coloring on other terra-cotta to determine country.
    Maybe it will ring some bells with someone. :(

    Sure seems like it's an aquamanile. If I can figure out where from that would be excellent... but so far not too many clues. Thanks again everyone for your help.
