It appears to have a duck head/bill. Some confusion there. Slipcast, modern decorative.

 

Well, eclectic is one word for it. I suspect modern Asian decorative ware for either Thanksgiving or Christmas.

 

The overall crazing is the giveaway.

Eclectic estate sale... sounds like fun!

 

Seems like anything that rings the nostalgia gong for 25-30 year olds is good mall catnip these days.
I ran into a dealer who gleefully told me she'd just sold a black velvet Snoopy for $200 on FB.She's a good judge of what's 'hot' at the moment because she really doesn't have much of a passion for collecting-her main rush is $$$$.
PS-Seems she'd have more fun as a Realtor or Commodities/Hedge Fund Broker,but to each their own ?

 

Well, this turkey still sits in my case at the antique mall, with an asking price of $10, but has not sold yet. It's only been a couple weeks, I guess, but December was pretty slow for me as a seller.

Hope springs eternal....
