Champagne Glass With Sylvania Logo

Hoping someone knows this logo.

 

Most probably not it but . . . do a bit of research on the (long ago) joint venture between Motorola and Sylvania on ''vacuum tubes." Perhaps this was a glass the "bigwigs" used to celebrate that "joint venture."

I cannot get into this in more detail because DH is already itching to pull his (electrical engineer) father's old vacuum tubes out of the attic.

 

Motorola used a different font for their older logo's (And then they went to the star trek looking one)

That's a stalk of wheat above the M.......
So being a good Montreal boy....all I come up with is....

 

Interesting. Googled a little, and nothing. Is Sylvania a city or "The" company?

 

I searched images for Sylvania wheat, Sylvania Monsanto, Monsanto wheat, Sylvania Monsanto wheat... might be a lost cause.

Its Monsanto...just have to find out what state Sylvania is in

 

Ohio, Georgia and Michigan.

 

If it's Monsanto ( good call Kraft..) ...I'd put a little wine in the glass, drink it down....and smash the glass in the fireplace !
