Featured Chased/engraved metal plate - Persian? Further East?

This plate is framed and behind glass - about 5.5" by 7.5" (14cm x 19cm). The signature looks perhaps Arabic to me - but wdik! Hoping someone recognizes this as a mythological / literary / symbolic scene of some soft - perhaps it's just a lady pouring into the man's cup and doesn't mean anything more?

Any ideas where from or when made? It looks fairly new to me - but is well made and was the right price, and it made me curious enough to buy it.

Yes, Persian, and I agree, fairly new. Could be inspired by Persian miniature painting, based on a classic story or poem.

Yes, those images are mostly classical Persian themes.

Even if they are, Aaron's is not Qajar.

I think my choices in what I've been snatching up and bringing here for show and tell have improved a bit over the last couple years. I'm certainly buying less, and selling more, and learning a lot along the way, mostly thanks to the good folks such as yourself who share their knowledge here!
