    Some time ago while looking for info on Victorian textiles I found this great site. It's so informative.
    I thought I would share it with you all as there will be something of interest for a lot of you, Especially those of you who love Victorian fabrics.

    Great site!
    My grandmother left me her needlework book, and I still have it. It explains just about every knitting, crochet, and embroidery technique. I learned several techniques from it, and always think of my grandmother when I use them. I also look up the names of techniques when I am researching something.
    It even has folk embroidery, lace-making and gold embroidery (last picture):

    I love the website Poisonivy, as a hand-sewer myself their is plenty of info to be had. My first look was in "fabrics" .. a wealth of information, I repair antique fabrics so I will definately read more .. Thank You for presenting it to us, Joy.
