There is a listed Hungarian artist Antal Jancsek who did quite of few paintings with children playing in winter but not sure if mine is by him.
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks

The palette is more colorful than he used. fine-arts-jancsek-antal-1907-1985-painting-children-on-ice-or-winter-gbejnx.jpg

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

    Also looks plausible to me.

    Hi,
The question I have is why the windmill blades are so short on the first painting?

The house in the first painting is the same , minus the windmill , as in Bev's example . So Id think its him .

The color palette may seem different due to years of cigarette smoke, or perhaps just the light in which the photo was taken?

I'm still thinking it's a copy by someone else. Too many differences.
