Chinese 24 Paragons of Filial Piety Painting

I had this for some time. Posted before on Ebay forum but since then I have not done another research.
It is not a woodblock but rather a painting on paper. The painting is laid over another sheet that is stamped "China" on the back. Don't know if that is how it was originally sold or it was later done this way. The tag with the title also looks like later addition.
The scene depicts the 3rd story from the Confucian filial piety, "His Heart Was Pained When His Mother Bit Her Finger".
There is no artist signature.
Wonder if this was a decorative, mass produced type of souvenir, maybe illustration from a book or something else. Suggestions on age?
I never listed it because I was not sure if it could have some more significant value or not.
