Featured Chinese? Bird button

I’m guessing that this button is Chinese? Sadly there is only one but I feel it’s hand painted and is quite lovely.
It arrived with buttons from Victorian black glass up to c1950s so I’m intrigued as to if this has age or interest?
Tricky to photograph well as it’s only 3/4 inch across. Thankyou for looking.

Don't have access to my button references, but it's a Japanese Satsuma, the form of the shank indicate some decent age, to my eye, not quite the typical quality of late 19th century buttons, but possibly early 20th century. Pretty...
