Google Lens is telling me this is an old piece but the ones I checked don't have "CHINA" on the bottom and there seems to be some variation in the pattern. This one is small - 3 1/2" tall. Can someone tell me the age? Thanks!

The sticker itself is an old one.

The sticker resembles a corner postal stamp from a sheet. Nice little jar. :)

The CHINA mark is applied over the paper label, which may be a clue. It might indicate that the jar was imported to (what country are you in?) during the early period of the laws requiring country of origin labels, and the stamp may have been applied by the importer rather than at the factory in China. Can you read what is on the paper label on the parts covered by the CHINA stamp?

I'm in the USA. I'm attaching a close up of the paper label - best guess is that is says "Made In" probably followed by "China".

That is so sweet! I'm thinking first third of 20th c since I've seen that blurry red ink stamp on Chinese ceramics from that era. Never seen one over stamping a paper label though!
