Not in the best condition, but very beautiful.
Bronze colored metal frame is 7". The glass is beveled
It has a dent on the top of the frame and the mirror behind the glass is damaged.
Just stamped on the easel part China.
Does it look like it is old or just wanting to be?

Huh it's got a sort of crafty vibe from the less precise execution of the forms and edging. Interesting. Definitely 20th export stuff with that mark.

The export mark was used after 1891 when the law was passed. Earlier than I thought so I looked it up.

Interesting piece. I'd have grabbed it deffo. A bit like famille rose style but in metal.

I Iike that. Idle guess would be 1920s, around the same time as all those sewing baskets. It seems to have the same sort of vibe. Can you tell if the glass is hand-beveled? Machine bevels are mechanically smooth, but hand bevels show a lot of striations, almost like faceting. Hand bevel supports the idea of some age.

Thank you all very much. @moreotherstuff it looks machine beveled to me.
Ha Ha @Jaime Riggs that mirror came up in a few of my searches. It does look the same.

Could be a replacement piece. Thought I might have a specific photo of a hand bevel, but if I do, I can't find it. Might be worth trying to find an online image.

No useful info from the poster (translated wiith Google):
    Enamel Bogu Cloisonne
I forgot which estate sale I bought this from. The diameter is 13.5 cm and I spent about $85. I don't think it's old, but I think the color and workmanship are good, and there are no quality issues, so I bought it. I have a natural liking for cloisonne, but I often don't know how to control myself and buy too much. Teachers, can you tell me what period this is from?

Nice piece I think. Looks like the photo was taken on a Nokia 3310 though.

Canton enamel, not to be sneezed at.:woot::woot::happy:
Nothing useful because they called it cloisonné, which it isn't.:D

Regarding the "cloisonné" trinket box, another poster replied that it's from the late Qing / Republic period

My bad. The original pic was too large. Made it smaller, but too small. And when I enlarged it again, that messed up the image resolution. :sorry:

You're right, it is nothing like champlevé. Sometimes pieces are simply enameled, which is the case with Canton enamel.;)

@Any Jewelry I was going to ask your thoughts on my mirror before this post was kind of hijacked.
