Chinese Carved Soapstone

    The bigger piece is a box, how about the one on the right, a matchbox holder? The very small piece was inside the box but I don't find any use for it?

    If it were a matchbox holder the small piece could go on the inside bottom; possibly originally glued there.
    It would then keep the matchbox in a partially open position so the matches could be extracted.
