Featured Chinese (donut) teapot

Hey hey!

Found this lovely teapot in Sweden's antique shop for few euros and just curious what is the story behind it, when it was made and where. Most of these on the internet are really cheap so it must be some mass produced modern item, maybe souvenir?
Any information is much appreciated. If there is a video or article I can read about the real thing, I would be very interested

The newness appearance of the bottom makes me think it is an import from a decorative store in the United States called Pier One. A catchy teapot but lacks high quality workmanship, a decorative piece. Please wait for others to give their opinions.

I agree, fairly recent import. Very nice though, and based on a traditonal shape and decoration.

We don't have Pier One in Europe. We do import from China and other countries that manufacture decorative and household items though.
