Do you think this is Chinese as suggested by the seller of the bracelet?
    Age?
Stamped Silver59. Only one I can find on internet is the bracelet shown.
    Approx 2inches tall.
Yellow gem is citrine, green possibly Aventurine and Mary says pink is morganite or rubellite (whatever that is) although it looks like a deep pink quartz. The Pearl is real.
It has a gold wash and doesn’t polish easily.
Thankyou for looking and keeping me sane whilst I multi task home schooling Algebra :)

It doesn't look typical of Chinese export filigree to me. Hm. @Any Jewelry ?

    Lovely brooch, K.:)
    Pinkish tourmaline.:)
I agree, but I do think it is Chinese Export. The mesh, the thick wire filigree, the 'silver' mark with two digits, are features of Chinese Export jewellery.
The choice of stones is seen a lot in Chinese jewellery.
The way the mesh is attached to the frame is unusual, it is usually inside the frame, so the frame shows on the back as well.
The usual two digits are 90, for .900 silver, but I have seen other finenesses. Not sure if these two digits actually indicate the fineness though.

I find the best way to polish pieces like this is using Wright's Silver Cream (or another foaming polish) with a very soft toothbrush. It will never be very shiny but it should clean up nicely. BUT...that is only of the stones are not foiled rhinestones, since you have tested these stones I think you are golden on that :)

Thanks for keeping me on the straight and narrow Marie . They are definitely gemstones but I need to be careful of that pearl.

    Yes!:nailbiting:
How about a sunshine cloth first? I have had no problems with that on goldwash.

Sunshine cloths are great, but I can't get into the nooks and crannies, or in between the filigree wires, on something like this. That's why I do the foaming polish and soft toothbrush thing, plus it just washes away when I'm done :)

Sometimes Chinese exporters misunderstood the letters and numbers they stamped on silver. It could be the 5 and 9 should be different characters.

I bought this Wang Hing tea caddy a while back that was marked HM OG instead of WH 90. Maybe something similar here?

Ratsy, that is an upside down mark.:playful:
Makes perfect sense the other way around, the Chinese mark is also stamped that way. The Wang Hing company where very meticulous.
This is the right way around, 90 Wang Hing in Chinese, and WH for Wang Hing.

I expect you're right, I'm always happy to defer to you on Chinese antiques. I know I was showing it upside down, but both me and the seller read the 9 as a G, and I found a thread on the Asian art forums discussing misused characters on Chinese export silver.
