Chinese (?) Japanese box - raised enamel work with foil technique?

    I am assuming this is Chinese or Japanese although I have never seen flowers like this - there is some cloisonné decoration like cloud scrolls or meander. I was unsure what to call the purple background on lid? Almost looks like a foil technique - same with the green leaves. The flowers are raised enamel work. The box came from a large collection of boxes from across the world.

    Third for Chinese. Looks like the morning glories that grow as "volunteers" here sometimes. If you use bird seed, sometimes these guys get planted by the birds and squirrels knocking seed out of the feeder and they grow on their own.
