Chinese necklace - what's the "stone"?

    It looks like some sort of composite, but I'm not sure what. The close-up is the clasp. The big picture is a "haul" shot with an eilat ring. The other necklace looks like citrine, garnet and agate.

    I think fossil stone with tube worms in it. There's a name for it that has left my head.

    Dunno. I was wondering about a fossil stone, but I almost hope it's not tube worms; those things kind of gross me out. :)

    Someone on another board found it - Gray Ocean Jasper Fossil Stone. No tube worms in sight, thankfully.

    It doesn't look like ocean jasper,ocean jasper is an orbicular "eye" jasper. Someone has been looking at too many New Age/healing sites.

    It might be a trade name; I found some on Amazon under that title, not that it means much.

    If it's an ocean stone, them's is worms. ;)

    You can pick these stones up on beaches, here, interesting things they are, too.
