    First President of the Republic of Korea (the south one.) Some of us are old enough to remember the name. ;)

    I seriously doubt he made it. There is a listed artist by that name but totally different style. Nice try though, thanks.

    Of course, he didn't. That was not my point. Your painting is Korean, not Japanese and not Chinese.

    I gather that Rhee is a very common surname in Korea, and there could be many artists and illustrators with that name. It won't be easy to find.
